Besides being useful in embryology and anatomy instruction, the clear delineation of the embryonic origins of the urinary bladder, the vagina, and the anal canal is useful when engaged in explaining pelvic floor physical therapy, especially when delving into the different types of prolapse. It provides another clear visual representation of the embryonic origin of the 3 different cavities.

Lucid Chart (LC) can be useful in course planning. For example, when using canvas, students have to click on the options on the left side to access the calendar, the course content / lectures, the course assignments. and the exams. One Lucid Chart can contain all of these in one expansive view, providing the student a better understanding of the flow of the course, and facilitate student planning in how to effectively and efficiently manage the course.
Aligned UDL Principles and Guidelines
Lucid Chart (LC) offers a novel way to customize display of information, specifically visual information. By using "graphing," it supports decoding of text to promote understanding. It can be used to supply background knowledge, highlight patterns, critical features, and relationships, guide information processing, visualization and manipulation, and maximize transfer and generalization. An LC can be embedded with text and links, providing variability in navigation. Students can use LC as creators, providing them with an additional tool in their armamentarium for construction and composition. When used for project management, it can guide appropriate goal setting, support planning and strategy development, facilitate managing information and resources, and enhance capacity for monitoring progress. In the affective domain, LC can heighten salience of goals and objectives, vary demands and resources to optimize challenge, and foster collaboration and community. It has the ability to promote expectations and beliefs that optimize motivation, and develop self-assessment and reflection.
